Facilities

Included in the playing membership of Liverpool Collegiate RUFC is access to all the facilities available at Liverpool Cricket and Sports Club. Players can also play for other sections of the club including: cricket, tennis, squash, lacrosse, hockey and bowls.
More information can be found at the Liverpool Cricket Club website.

The club currently has 4 grass pitches:
One training pitch located at Otterspool promenade which is mainly used throughout the summer months and occasionally by the 4th XV.

One playing pitch located outside the pavilion on the top ground. This is used by the 1st XV and is partnered with events such as sporting lunches. This pitch is one of the best surfaces in the North West, as the cricket pitch is used by Lancashire CCC in the summer so is kept in pristine condition.

Two pitches located at the lower ground, one of these is floodlit and is used for training on weeknights. Another training session also takes place on the artificial pitch at ESLA.

Membership also entitles players to use of the small gym at Liverpool Cricket and Sports Club. The gym is equipped with a range of equipment including: a full dumbbell rack, a squat cage, a bench and olympic bar, a lat pull down machine and a free weights bench. In the near future we are looking to renovate this gym and provide a facility which meets the needs of all members.

Weekly circuit training sessions are also available to those who are keen on fitness. The rugby section has recently invested in new equipment such as dip bars, ropes and kettlebells to improve the quality of these sessions. In addition to this the outside circuit training area is now floodlight meaning the sessions can take place in the winter months.

For the social side the rugby section has its own bar located on the ground floor of the club house. The bar is currently undergoing renovation thanks to a grant from 'RugbyForce' by Nat West. In addition to this there is a larger bar and function room in the club which is often used for social events organised by the rugby section.
