Rugby Section AGM - 8/5/15:
The rugby section AGM is scheduled for Friday 8th May in the rugby bar. It is important all club members attend to provide feedback and influence how the club is run. This also acts as an opportunity for individuals to put themselves forward for committee positions.

Club Dinner - 5/6/15:
The annual dinner this year also marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of our great club. To the mark the occasion we have organised a very special dinner.

As well as the usual meal, we have booked a top Liverpool blues/soul band and a very special guest speaker, Mark Regan. Mark was a World Cup winner for England in 2003 and a finalist in 2007. He was played for Bristol, Bath, Leeds and the Barbarians. Indeed, he captained the Barbarians to a famous victory over South Africa at Twickenham in 2007. Mark is also a British Lion and he played for the test team in their series victory over South Africa in 1997.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, the meal, speaker and band will take place in the marquee and we will finish the night with a few more drinks in the rugby bar!

The Annual Dinner is a black tie/smart dress event. It is open to all rugby members and their partners. It is limited to 200 people in total and a large number of tickets have already been sold!

Tickets are £25 per person (£15 for Colts). Cash and cheques can be given to Paul Walsh or Chris Jones.

This is going to be one of the best dinners in the history of the club, rather appropriate as it has been the most successful season in our history. The top table will have a stunning collection of trophies won by our 1st XV and by our Junior teams. It is a night not to be missed.
