Liverpool Collegiate RUFC have established themselves as one of the most successful community sports clubs in Liverpool. Collegiate are always keen to attract new players to the club running four Senior sides as well as two Colts sides (Under 19s and Under 17s) as well as 10 Minis and Junior sides. The 1st XV finished 3rd in South Lancs/Cheshire 2 last season and were unlucky to miss out on promotion. It is hoped the club will achieve promotion to the top division within in the next couple of seasons. Our 1st XV offers a good opportunity for experienced rugby players to play competitive rugby.

The 2nd XV had a tremendous season in the North West League 2. Collegiate finished 1st and gained promotion into the NWIRUL 1st division. This shows how the 2nd team have progressed in recent years, and again should be aiming to consolidate their position this season.

The 3rd XV finished 3rd in North West League 5 this season gained promotion to NWIRUL League 4. The 3rd XV offers a more relaxed approach to rugby with many older players on their way back down or younger players on their way up.

We also run a 4th XV who play for those keen on the social side of the game or newcomers to rugby. This is a great team for those who may not be able to commit to regular rugby or wish to play at a slower pace, and provides a good learning platform for those wishing to develop. This season the 4th XV will be competing in North West Division 5.

Being in close proximity to Liverpool University, LJMU and Liverpool Hope University the club has benefitted from the inclusion of numerous student players over the last few seasons - with many of them playing regular 1st XV rugby. The club is easy to get to by public transport and lifts are often available for those who need it.

We a really keen to attract new players at any level of rugby for next season as we aim to continue our success.
