This week's Q&A features a man known to many as Moley

Name: David Proctor

Age: 39 (40 next week…)

Nickname: Mole / Brucey / Party Dad

Position: these days 9 or 15

Position you think you should have been: wanted to be a 9 since I was Cowan’s height

Best player to face or play with: Lucky enough to have played with and against a lot of internationalists but would have to say the seasons with Simon Taylor (the Scottish one not the Collegiate air guitar player) as my 8 and Gordon Ross as my 10 were the best.
Against – still haunted by playing on the wing against Iwan Tukalo (a Scotland winger the young pups have probably never heard of). As he left me in a heap on the floor for his 3rd try the commentator on Rugby Special announced ‘you would think everyone in rugby knows he comes off his left foot’ – rinsed on and off the pitch.

Brains of the team: Gary Morgan, Brucey, Rob and Trigger

Most likely to come last in a pub quiz: Big Nose

Favourite food: Spanish Tapas

Lager, ale or wine: a nice bottle of Rioja with food above (can tell I’m the old man of the team)

Best film: Point Break

Music tastes: these days all I get to listen to is Wheels on the Bus and Old McDonald had a farm

Best dressed in the team: Moobs – fellow post match tank top wearer.

Worst dressed in the team: Loftus – poor choice of footwear with his green dress

Best rugby moment: Back to back Scottish Championships in 98-99,99-00

Worst rugby moment: leaving Hightown (RIP) with the Hoban brothers on the Belfast Tour. Apart from that being on the bench for the Scottish Cup Final at Murrayfield and not getting on – got over it after about half an hour and it was some weekend of celebrating.

Any hidden talents we don’t know about: East of Scotland U/16 disco dancing champion…

Mallorca or Morecambe: Mallorca

And Finally…….
How do you see the autumn internationals going? Can NZ be beaten twice in a year?
Don’t see many scalps for the home nations. Maybe if Scotland bring their A game to the table……
Clean sweep for the All Blacks, small matter of Carter and Sonny-Bill back in the squad!
