U20 Rugby World Cup

The World Rugby U20 Championship is a 12-team tournament, previously known as the IRB Junior World Championship.

The tournament consists of 30 matches taking placed over five days at two venues: AJ Bell Stadium (home of Sale Sharks) and Manchester City’s Academy Stadium.

The tournament is owned and governed by World Rugby, and this year, will be delivered by the RFU in Manchester from June 7. Previous hosts include Wales, Japan, Argentina, Italy, South Africa, France and New Zealand.
