Liverpool Collegiate RUFC have established themselves as one of the most successful community sports clubs in Liverpool. Collegiate are always keen to attract new players to the club running four senior sides, a colts side, as well as 10 Minis and Junior sides. The 1st XV finished 1st in South Lancs/Cheshire 2 last season and gained promotion to Division 1. It is hoped the club will secure their position in South Lancs/Cheshire 1 this season. Our 1st XV offers a good opportunity for experienced players to play competitive rugby.

The 2nd XV compete in North West Division 1. With opposition in this league including the second teams of a number of National League clubs this allows players to face a good quality opposition, producing a squad of players who are also comfortable playing in the 1st XV.

The 3rd XV had a successful season following promotion, and are looking forward to another year in North West Division 4. The 3rd XV offers a more relaxed approach to rugby with many older players on their way back down or younger players on their way up.

We also run a 4th XV who play for those keen on the social side of the game or newcomers to the sport. This is a great team for those who may not be able to commit to regular rugby or wish to play at a slower pace, and provides a good learning platform for those wishing to develop. The 4th XV play fixtures in North West Division 5.

Being in close proximity to Liverpool University, LJMU and Liverpool Hope University the club has benefitted from the inclusion of numerous student players in previous seasons - with many of them playing regular 1st XV rugby. The club is easy to get to by public transport and lifts are available for those who need it.

We a really keen to attract new players at any level of rugby for next season as we aim to continue our success.

Pre-season training begins Tuesday 7th July at 7pm on Otterspool Prom and continues every Tuesday and Thursday - same time, same place.
