A bright start from both sides and some desperate tackling saw both teams turn over the ball but eventually Collegiate crossed the line and once they got their noses in front they never looked back. Tries from Henry and Sam L with great support from the rest of the team.Game 1 was a much tighter game than the final scoreline suggested but Collegiate's defence made the difference. Game 2 was a mirror image of the first game and both sides were tackling well but once again we got the first score and went on from there. The game saw 2 great team tries by Collegiate, the first when Lee went on a run and made an intelligent pass out to the wing for Ali to score, the next involved all the players and the final pass to Sam L saw him score in the corner. Game 3 saw our hosts fight back and they scored 2 great breakaway tries before Sam L scored with one of his specials, unfortunately our hosts sealed the game with a score in the corner. Liverpool Collegiate 1 - Altrincham Kersal 3

Overall a good team performance and good to see the players working well together. Man of the Match went to our new player Dylan for a fine all round performance, let's hope we see many more of them.
